Fabrizio and Kim Win MGA/WMGA Mixed Pinehurst
Hastings on Hudson, N.Y. (July 31, 2017) – After two teams tied with matching scores of 5-under 66, it was decided that Phil Fabrizio of Knickerbocker and Yoona Kim of Edgewood were the winners of the 54th MGA/WMGA Mixed Pinehurst Championship at Saint Andrew's Golf Club on Monday. Cameron Young and Barb Jones of Sleepy Hollow finished as the runner-up team.
Past MGA President Steve Boyd of Baltusrol and Noell Maertz of MGA eClub-N.J., finished one stroke behind with a 4-under 67, and won the low net prize with their net score of 66.

Sangsoo Lee and amateur Alice Kwon of Ballyowen finished as the low professionals with a 2-under 69 (using Kwon’s net score), edging out Greg Bisconti and Ambry Bishop of Saint Andrew’s by two shots.
The MGA and WMGA teamed up to co-host this event in 2012. To be eligible for the tournament, either the male or the female must be a member of an MGA Member Club and have a current USGA Handicap Index. Partners need not be members of the same club. Males must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for men not exceeding 14.0. Females must have an individual up-to-date Handicap Index based on ratings for women not exceeding 18.0.
The MGA was able to showcase our new parternship with GOLFZON, the official golf simulator of the MGA, who had a presence throughout the day at Saint Andrew's. GOLFZON representatives were on hand to provide information on their prodcuts and simulators, and each competitor was entered into a GOLFZON sponsored raffle that include various prizes.
Saint Andrew’s played to a par 71 at 6,400 yards.
